A Glimpse into the Unforgettable Moments of the Autumn Bridal Expo
TALLAHASSEE, FL (October 03, 2023) - A time was had at our Autumn Bridal Expo on Sunday, October 01, 2023, at the Retreat at Bradley’s Pond. The atmosphere was set, and the venue was transformed in a way where dreams met design in our Moody Modern theme. Couples could embrace the enchanting blend of peacock teal, terracotta, and beige hues as they explored the latest trends, connected with top vendors, and envisioned their dream wedding.
As the brides entered into the autumnal allure, they received a bridal bag, a newspaper curated by us ‘The Newlywed Post’, and a bridal sash. For a few lucky brides, they also received some bridal swag in the form of a sweatshirt to get further into the fall vibes.
This event wouldn’t be what it was without the participation of our vendors. This year’s vendors were: Avenue Studio Design, Carolina Waldroff Photography, Hustler Hollywood, Holiday Inn Express, Love and Good Roads Travel, Raylene Reserve, Trickey Photography, Realty ONE Group Next Generation, Rust and Rose Jewelry, Sherlock Springs, Sweet Boozy Cakes, Uncharted Event Photobooth Rentals, and Wanderlust Salon and Spa. A special thanks also to our ad sponsors for their contributions - Runnin’ Buzz Bartending, MUA Jay R Raven, Alpha 24 Entertainment, and Ida Walker, KW Realtor.
Thanks to all of the vendors, we were able to raffle away door prizes almost every 20 minutes to lucky couples in attendance. Couples walked away with prizes that ranged from a 2-night free stay at the Holiday Express and $50 gift cards to gift baskets and free bartending services for up to 75 guests! We couldn’t help but take part in the giveaways, so we had two grand prizes for a pair of lucky brides. Madison Cox was the winner of our $500 gift voucher and Tatiana Loayza was the winner of our $1,500 gift voucher. Both gifts can be used toward our planning and coordination services.
Months leading up to our Autumn Bridal Expo we were able to successfully execute each layer of our communications plan. A large part of that plan was advertising and getting people excited to attend. We used a deliberate combination of print, digital, and media ads to promote the event. Our business focus has always been a community-driven approach, so we wanted to focus on using as many local businesses and small businesses to help with our efforts. We distributed flyers locally created in-house and printed by Midtown Printing Co. here in Tallahassee, FL. We created social media assets and ran several paid and non-paid campaigns across Facebook and Instagram. We had an awesome time preparing our radio scripts and ads with stations 98.9 and 96.1 over six weeks, leading up to the event.
As a new business, we were confident that our efforts would yield a good turnout, so we couldn’t have been happier when we discovered we had over 100 participants at the expo. We received amazing feedback from the expo guests and vendors about the fun times had at the Autumn Bridal Expo. While this was our first expo, we are sure it won’t be the last. Cheers!
